Preservation in Time of Evil
Do you know that we are in the very last days. Last week God had spoken to us prophetically that before the coming of our Lord many events which will remove peace and joy will take place in the world. The world will be filled with confusion, chaos, strife and destruction.The message which God gave last week was indeed prophetical as the week was one of confusion, chaos, destruction. The air was filled with the news of Bomb blasts. On July 25th Friday Bomb blasts rocked in 8 places in Bangalore resulting in chaos and confusion. Innocent people lost their lives. On 26th July Saturday another series of explosions rocked Ahmedabad .
The explosions of Ahmedabad was still worse as at least 29 people were killed and over 100 were injured as 16 serial bomb blasts rocked Ahmedabad on Saturday evening.Cycles were probably used to plant the bombs while some were placed on buses. "The blasts were of low intensity and similar to those which hit Bangalore according to G K Parmar , joint commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad Police. The serial blasts in Ahmedabad on Saturday came a day after the blasts in Bangalore.
Some Interesting similarities in both the strikes:
a)While Bangalore was rocked by eight blasts, in Ahmedabad, there were 16 explosions
b)The blasts in both the cities were of low-intensity and were planted in crowded placess
As we hear such news, it is time that we consider certain things carefully. The last days will be days of gloom, misery, sorrow, confusion and chaos according to the word. It is because evil will be very active. Some believers think they can pray and stop the evil. But one thing you have to understand. Prophecy cannot be changed.
God is not going to remove evil. But at the same time he has provided a means to keep us safe in this world. Our job is to understand this and do what God expects. Pro 22:3 clearly reveals that the Prudent foresee the evil and hide themselves, but the simple pass on and are punished. God expects us to be Prudent not simple. We are supposed to foresee the evil around us and do something to be safe.
The Apostle Paul in Eph 5:16 advises us to REDEEM THE TIME, BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL. Are we doing it. Why should we redeem the time?
Because the days are evil
What is the meaning of Redeeming?
Redeeming means Making best possible use of the time availaible at our disposal.
Today we are in the period of grace given to us by God. This grace period is given so that we may protect ourselves. Very soon evil is going to strike.
How do we protect ourselves?
It is by Building a Protective wall.
It is your job to build the Protective wall.
God can only advise you.
You have to do it.
If you do not build the Protective wall, but just waste the time, then you are being casual and your not taking the word seriously.
Don't be simple. Be prudent
